Before your name. Before your family. Before the body you inhabit and the life you have built inside it — there is a point of origin that Sri Kaleshwar names with remarkable precision.
Every soul that exists was first created in the Divine Mother’s womb.
Not as metaphor. Not as poetic language about universal love. As the foundational teaching about what you are and where you came from. Sri Kaleshwar taught it in terms that leave no room for abstraction:
We all came from the Mother. All the souls were first created in the Divine Mother’s womb. Every creation, every soul, is linked with the Mother’s womb. Mother Divine is the Mother to every soul in this universe. She doesn’t belong to any religion at all. The Mother is the universal god/goddess. That Mother created your mother, that mother created you.[1]
This is the ground on which everything else stands. Before practice, before prayer, before any spiritual qualification — there is this fact. You came from Her. The connection between you and the Divine Mother was established not when you found a spiritual path, but before you arrived on this planet.
IWhat It Means That You Came From Her
To say that every soul was created in the Divine Mother’s womb is not to say something gentle about cosmic love. It is to say something specific about the nature of the bond.
A child carried in the womb is not related to its mother because they have built a relationship over time. The relationship precedes everything. It is the condition of the child’s existence. There was never a moment when the bond was not already fully present.
Sri Kaleshwar teaches the same is true of every soul and the Divine Mother. She is not a force you move toward across some spiritual distance. She is the source you came from. And the link between a soul and its source does not weaken with time, with forgetting, or with the accumulation of an entire lifetime of looking elsewhere. It simply is.
IIThe Link That Cannot Be Lost
Knowing that the connection exists is one thing. Understanding its actual nature is another.
All souls were first created in the Divine Mother’s womb. We all came from the Mother. We all came from the female character. Your whole link is somewhere with the female. Each person, each soul has a connection, a strong link with the Mother. A very strong link, equal to Jesus, but the layers of maya cover it.[2]
Equal to Jesus. Sit with that.
The teaching is not that Jesus was exceptional in the strength of his soul’s bond to the Divine Mother. It is that every soul carries that same bond — at the same strength — already. What distinguished his connection was not its magnitude but the fact that it was not covered.
Maya — the Sanskrit word for the veil, the obscuring layer — is not a punishment and not a permanent condition. It is what accumulates in a soul moving through ordinary life: the forgetting, the noise, the years of not knowing that this is what was missing. What was always there begins to feel absent. But absence is not what is happening. What is happening is covering. And those are not the same thing.
The soul is not separated from the Mother. The soul is covered. That is the teaching. And that distinction changes everything about what the spiritual journey actually is.
IIIYou Were Not Searching for Something You Never Had
This is why the sense that something essential is missing — the persistent pull toward something deeper, the feeling that ordinary life does not quite account for the full weight of being alive — is not a symptom of incompleteness.
It is the soul recognizing, however dimly, that its connection to the Mother has been covered and wants to be clear again.
You were not searching for something new. You were remembering something original. The lineage, as Sri Kaleshwar names it, runs all the way down: That Mother created your mother, that mother created you.[1] She is not a distant divinity who created you once and then withdrew. She is the continuing source of everything that you are and everything that is. The connection runs through the fabric of existence itself.
IVNine Nights to Move from Knowing to Experiencing
There is a gap between receiving a teaching and living inside it.
The teaching in this article — that every soul came from Her, that the connection has always been full-strength, that maya is the only obstacle — can be understood completely and still remain outside the life. You can hold it as true and still not feel it as real. Navaratri is designed to close that gap.
The ten days of October 11 through 20 exist precisely for the shift from knowing this to experiencing it. Not reading about the Mother. Not understanding the teaching about the link. Actually encountering Her — so the knowing becomes contact.
Each day’s fire ceremony burns through the specific layers that have been keeping the teaching at a distance from the soul. Each night’s transmission opens channels. The mantras create vibrational contact — not as reminder of the intellectual teaching but as living encounter with Her presence. The satsangs and meditations build and sustain the quality of attention that lets the encounter land.
What is available in ten concentrated days is the experience of what was only a teaching before: that She is here, that the link is real, that the soul that came from Her can feel Her again.
The transmissions reach wherever you are in the world.
October 11 through 20. Open to anyone, through DEVI LOKA.
She is here. The next question is: how do we begin to recognize Her presence in the life we are already living?
