“I’m giving a boon to the globe, whoever looks at my picture asking for help, the help will be there. That’s it.” — Sri Kaleshwar
This is not a devotional sentiment. It points to a true 'tool of prayer' that opens a living connection to the master's channel in the lineage of today's Sai Datta saints.
BRING THE LINEAGE HOME
Why This Works
Sri Kaleshwar taught that the eyes in a picture carry the same energy as the living master’s eyes. “You can heal millions of people just through your picture,” he said. “It means seeing the eyes in your picture.” A sacred image is not a reminder. It is a channel — and it works whether you understand the mechanism or not. “It’s like fire,” he said. “If you know it’s hot and you touch it, it burns. If you don’t know and you touch it, it still burns.”
The Evidence from Shirdi
The Sri Sai Satcharitra records that “looking at Baba’s picture is truly equivalent to seeing him in person.” In 1917, a saint named Balabuva bowed before Baba’s portrait in Mumbai. Four years later, arriving in Shirdi for the first time, Baba said: “I have known this man for four years.” Five hundred miles. Four years. It made no difference.
- ✅ A devotee stood before Baba’s picture, took ash from the incense burning in front of it, applied it to a scorpion sting. Instant healing. The photo supplied what was needed.
- ✅ A man wept before Baba’s photograph after his closest friend stole his wife’s jewelry. The next day — everything returned, forgiveness begged.
- ✅ Hemadpant dreamed Baba would come for a meal. At noon, two visitors arrived carrying Baba’s portrait. It was placed on the guest seat. The feast was held in Baba’s presence.
- ✅ “Though Baba has no body now, he lives there and everywhere and will look after the welfare of devotees even now as he did before he was embodied.”

What Sri Kaleshwar Promised
Before his mahasamadhi, Sri Kaleshwar made a series of direct promises about what would happen through his picture and from his samadhi. These are not interpretations. They are his words.
- ✅ “Even when your Swami is in his samadhi, he can send the vibrations to you to give you darshan of Mother Divine in your bedroom in Los Angeles. I’m not kidding.”
- ✅ “Who comes to my samadhi with an open heart, doing certain processes, on my soul level, I’ll help them, too. This is my word!”
- ✅ “From my samadhi, I will talk to my students who really need my help. My bones will talk to them. I will send them the energy from my bones.”
- ✅ “After I leave my body, I have huge capacity to take the negativity out. That boon, I am giving to everybody.”
