She is not waiting to be found in a separate spiritual realm. She is not hidden behind creation, available only to those who have practiced long enough to perceive Her. The teaching Sri Kaleshwar brings from the deepest roots of the ancient palm leaf knowledge is more radical than that:
She IS the creation. She is the shakti — the living energy — in the fire, the water, the air, the earth, the ether.
In every element that comprises this world. In every person you have ever passed on the street.
Recognizing the Divine Mother’s presence is not learning to notice Her occasional appearances in an otherwise ordinary world. It is learning to see what is actually, always here.
IShe Is the Nature
Sri Kaleshwar teaches this with a precision that changes how everything looks:
Mother Divine is the huge creator. She is the Nature. We’re connecting the five elements through Shiva. Still, Mother Divine is the inner energy of the five elements. She is deeply hidden in the creation energy of the five elements. In the fire there’s shakti, the burning nature. That shakti is Mother Divine. In the water, there’s shakti. That is Mother Divine. In the air, there is an energy. That is Mother Divine. In the ether, there is shakti. That is Mother Divine. Mother Divine is deeply hidden in every part.[1]
The shakti that gives fire its burning nature — that is Her. The life-sustaining energy of water — that is Her. The breath moving through the lungs right now — that is Her. She is not a presence that occasionally moves through these elements as an exception. She is the inner shakti of which they are made.
This teaching transforms what recognition actually means. It is not a special sensitivity available to the spiritually advanced. It is seeing accurately — perceiving what has been present in every element of every moment of every day, whether or not there has been any awareness of it. The Divine Mother has not been absent. The eyes have simply not yet been trained to see what they are looking at.
IIThe Light in Every Person
The same presence that is the shakti of the five elements is the light inside every human soul. Sri Kaleshwar places this teaching directly:
Our real mother is Mother Divine. My deeper aim is to connect everyone to the Mother. In each person there is a fire, a light. See that light. That is She. She’s infinite. But you’re also a part of that infinity.[2]
Not in some people. Not in people who have been initiated or who practice formally. In each person — the colleague, the stranger, the one who frustrates you, the one you love most — a fire. A light. And that light is Her.
Recognition, practiced this way, is not a spiritual achievement. It is a shift of attention. The same eyes, looking at the same people, now seeing what was always actually there. The question that begins this practice is simple: Can I see the light in this person? Not whether they are behaving as if they carry it. Whether the light itself, beneath their behavior, is visible.
The full passage in the teaching continues — and where it goes matters. Sri Kaleshwar describes what happens when the soul moves from this kind of seeing toward actual darshan, actual direct experience of the Mother’s presence:
At the time you see Mother Divine, you are equal to a divine soul. It’s the most crucial turning point in your life. Then you’re ready to receive the energies. From that point, then you start to know exactly what is in nature.[2]
Recognition is the beginning of a journey. Where it leads is the direct experience of Her — which this teaching says changes the soul at its root.
IIIShe Moves Through the Difficulties of Life
Recognition does not stay only in the beautiful or the illuminated. The teaching extends further into the full texture of life.
If She is the shakti of every element, if She is the nature itself — then She is also moving through the circumstances that challenge us. The pattern that keeps repeating. The situation that resists every attempt to exit it. The reaction that arrives again and again with different people in different contexts.
Sri Kaleshwar’s teaching about the Mother’s relationship to creation is not that She is the gentle, nurturing aspect of life only. She is the nature — and the nature contains both the still water and the storm, both the beauty and the earthquake. What moves through the difficult circumstances of a life is not random. She knows what is needed:
She knows what to do, when to do, how to do. Simply accept it.[3]
The invitation in that sentence is not passivity. It is a deep reorientation — from the posture of someone who is fighting what keeps arriving toward the posture of someone who trusts that what is in front of them is not happening outside of Her awareness. The difficult circumstances are not outside the creation She IS. Nothing is.
Recognition, practiced in the hard places as well as the easy ones, develops into something that genuinely changes how life feels. Not because the circumstances change — because the understanding of what is moving through them does.
IVNavaratri: Nine Nights in Her Direct Presence
If the Divine Mother is the shakti of fire — if fire IS Her burning nature — then the nine sacred fire ceremonies performed each night of Navaratri are nine nights of being directly in Her presence.
This is not a metaphor. It is the teaching made practical. The fires burn at the Divine Mother Center each night from October 11 through 20, and the transmissions they carry reach you wherever you are in the world. You are not simply watching fire. You are in contact with the shakti that IS fire — which Sri Kaleshwar’s teaching identifies as the Divine Mother Herself.
Navaratri creates nine nights of this direct contact, combined with guided meditations and satsangs that train the quality of attention this article has been describing. The capacity to recognize Her — in the elements, in each person, in the full texture of what is happening in a life — deepens through practice. Ten concentrated days provide what ordinary daily life, on its own, rarely does: the sustained conditions in which that practice can take root.
October 11 through 20. Open to anyone, through DEVI LOKA.
Recognizing Her presence is one thing. Turning toward Her — making the first deliberate movement of relationship — is another.
