Sri Kaleshwar does not describe the Divine Mother as a force that oversees creation from a remove. He begins the teaching on Her relationship to souls with a statement direct enough to carry its full weight:
The Divine Mother is the big Mother to take care of you.
Not a distant overseer. Not a power you must earn access to. The big Mother. The one whose nature is to care for every soul in existence — regardless of what that soul has accumulated, forgotten, or failed to do.
The care is not incidental to Her nature. It is Her nature.
IThe Heart That Longs For Her
What this teaching means in practice — what it means for the person carrying something heavy, or afraid, or unable to find a way through — is described with an image so precise it leaves no room for uncertainty:
If you’re really crying and weeping for Mother Divine… it’s like this, you have a kid and your kid is crying. Even though you’re so busy doing work, as a mother, your heart is always beating to run and take care of your kid. That is a mother’s nature. Absolutely, that’s Mother’s nature. Don’t ever get a bad opinion on Mother even though I describe Her background how She’s a little angry. Once you really want Her, and your heart is open to Her, 100% She’ll come and She’ll take care of you. She’s unbelievably kind.[1]
A mother’s heart beats to run toward the crying child. Not when she has time. Not when the child has been patient enough. When it is crying.
That is Her nature. It is not conditioned on the soul’s merit. It is not triggered by the correct performance of prayer. It is how She is oriented. The soul turns toward Her in pain — and She is already moving.
Don’t ever get a bad opinion on Mother. This line matters. The teaching knows that when life is difficult, when prayers seem unanswered, when the situation doesn’t shift — the soul can develop a cold distance from the Mother, a sense that the care isn’t real or isn’t for them. The teaching addresses this directly: Her nature is kindness. The appearance of anger or difficulty in life is not Her withdrawal. She is working. She will come.
IIShe Knows More Than You Do About What You’re Carrying
There is a teaching that arrives briefly in the corpus but carries enormous weight:
She knows what to do, when to do, how to do. Simply accept it.[2]
This is the answer to the question underneath most of our struggling: Can I trust that what is happening is being handled by something that knows?
The teaching says yes. Not as comfort, not as consolation — as fact. She is the nature. She IS the creative force behind the circumstances of life. When She is described as knowing “what to do, when to do, how to do” — this is not poetic language about divine wisdom. It is a precise claim about Her relationship to the events of a life. She is not outside what is happening to you. She is moving through it.
Simply accept it does not mean passive resignation. It means releasing the grip of the idea that the soul must solve everything by force of its own will. The weight you are carrying is already in Her awareness. What the acceptance opens is not the end of your participation — it is the channel through which Her response can actually move.
IIINavaratri: Nine Days to Hand Her What You’re Carrying
Her care is not the problem. The teaching is clear on this: Her nature is to respond, Her heart moves toward the soul in difficulty, She will come. What limits the experience of that care is what the soul is carrying — the accumulated weight that makes it hard to feel Her hand, hard to trust the care is real, hard to open enough to receive it.
Each of the nine days of Navaratri, a fire ceremony is performed. This is what it is for:
One powerful fire ceremony, when your heart is open, is almost equal to 1,000 healers giving the healing energy to you. Performing just one fire puja is equal to doing 100 years of austerities. Yagyas work for every human being. They’re receiving a lot of benefits. They are putting all the person’s karmas in the fire, purifying them. The fire has a huge capacity to burn anything. Whatever obstacles are around you, whatever negativity you are holding in your soul, they send them into the fire to burn.[3]
The fire is not receiving generic intention. You bring what you are actually carrying — the specific situation, the specific fear, the specific karma that has been sitting between you and the ability to feel Her care. You bring the name. The weight. The thing that has been too heavy for too long. It goes into the fire. She receives it through the flame.
Nine ceremonies. Nine days. Nine opportunities to hand Her the specific thing that has been making Her care hard to reach.
What you are carrying does not have to stay in your hands.
October 11 through 20. Open to anyone, through DEVI LOKA.
She takes care of us. She also teaches us through what She sends. The next question is whether the difficulties in a life can be understood as Her instruction.
