This article is about a specific event — not a gradual shift in perception, not a deepening spiritual mood, not a feeling that builds over time. Something precise. Something Sri Kaleshwar does not allow to be softened or explained as metaphor:
To see Mother Divine, your eyes have to be open. One hundred percent you have to see Her with your physical eyes. That’s the most important. If you’re not seeing Her with your physical eyes, you’re self-hypnotized. I won’t agree with that. I’m not that kind of teacher in your life.[1]
Darshan. The Sanskrit word means sight — direct, physical vision of the Divine Mother. Not an inner knowing. Not a beautiful meditation experience. Her, in front of you, visible. Sri Kaleshwar draws the line precisely because the confusion between genuine darshan and self-generated inner experience is real, common, and consequential.
Once that distinction is clear, the teaching on what darshan actually produces becomes something different to receive. It is not describing a feeling that comes and goes. It is describing what happens to a soul that has genuinely seen Her:
At the time you see Mother Divine, you are equal to a divine soul. From that point, your real life will start in spirituality. You’re a completely different person.
Not a better version of the same person. A completely different one.
IWhat Actually Changes — And What Doesn’t
The fear that darshan will require abandoning ordinary life is addressed directly in the teaching:
At the time you see Mother Divine you are equal to a divine soul. One hundred percent you’re equal. Then from that point you have to learn the most crucial turning points in your life. Then you’re ready to receive the energies. From that point, then you start to know exactly what is in the nature.
Once you see Mother Divine, once you connect Her, from that point, your real life will start in spirituality. You’re a completely a different person. You know something. You recognize the unbelievable greatness in the nature. In each person there is a fire, a light. See that light, that is She.
Whenever you pull Her in you, that is Her nature. Sometimes it’s hard to you to believe and to understand. ‘Hey Swami, after we see Mother Divine, what will really happen? After we talk and have a communication with Her, what will really happen to us? Maybe we’ll leave our kids and family. Maybe we’ll run out into the jungle, sitting as saints.’
No, you can still love your wife and kids. You can start to open the hearts of thousands of people. You can start to give miraculous healings. You can change any person’s life, like that. That’s it. I think it’s a huge blessing, isn’t it? Then your real life will be fulfilled. It’s enough.[2]
It’s enough. The fulfilled life is not the one that escaped ordinary existence. It is the one lived inside it — with the capacity to open hearts, to give healings, to change any person’s life — because the recognition of the Mother has opened what was covered.
The fear that connection will pull a person away from their life is precisely backwards. What changes is not the external form of the life. What changes is what you carry into it, what you can see within it, and what becomes possible through you because of it. Family, work, responsibilities — all of it remains. Something in the person moving through all of it is different.
You know something. The teaching names it simply. You recognize the greatness in the nature. The fire in each person begins to be visible. The ordinary world becomes legible in a way it wasn’t before.
IIThe Energy That Stays
The teaching is precise about the permanence of what shifts:
When you’re having a darshan of Mother Divine it means you’re completely walking out of all the five elements. It’s a separation between the nature and you. You are walking out from nature, even though you are still in the nature. You’re out of the nature and you’re watching the nature form of Mother Divine. Then She dissolves Her energy in you. Once you experience Her energy, that energy is with you all the time. That energy purifies everything around you.[3]
She dissolves Her energy in you. This is the mechanism. Not a feeling that comes and goes. Not a shift in perspective that fades after the retreat ends. Her energy dissolves into the soul — and remains.
That energy purifies everything around you. The changed person changes the environment they move through. The conversations they are in. The relationships they affect. The suffering they encounter. The healing they can offer. The purification is not limited to what happens in ceremony. It radiates outward into their life.
This is why the teaching describes the connection as the beginning of “real life” — not because the life before it was false, but because what becomes possible after it is of a different order entirely.
IIIThe Foundation That Holds
What this produces in the person over time is described with unmistakable precision:
Who has a really good command on God’s energy... these people have a very pure peace of mind. They are completely peaceful, with huge love. Even if a big problem comes, they never shake.[4]
Even if a big problem comes, they never shake.
The problems come. The teaching does not promise their absence. What it describes is a person who has something underneath the problem — a ground that the problem cannot erode. Not because they have escaped the human condition. Because the energy that dissolves into the soul in genuine connection with the Mother is more stable than any external circumstance.
The pattern that used to collapse the person becomes something they can stand inside. The grief that used to be only grief becomes something the relationship can hold. The fear that used to drive decisions loses its command. Not because life improves. Because the ground underneath it does.
IVNavaratri: Building the Channel So the Energy Stays
The shift described in this article — becoming a completely different person, Her energy dissolving into the soul and remaining — does not happen in a single event and vanish. It requires the channels to be built and held open.
This is the deeper purpose of ten consecutive days.
Each fire ceremony deepens the purification that allows Her energy to penetrate further. Each night’s transmission opens and widens the channel. Each morning’s practice trains the soul to hold what was received the night before rather than losing it to the noise of the day. By the end of ten days, what has been accumulating — the opening, the recognition, the beginning of Her energy taking up permanent residence — is not a flash that fades but a change that holds.
The “completely different person” the teaching describes is not built in a single ceremony. It is built in exactly this kind of sustained concentrated practice — ten days of conditions designed to let the connection deepen, stabilize, and remain.
Some people have experienced the shift the teaching describes in the context of Navaratri. Not because of a dramatic single moment, but because ten days of sustained turning gave the connection enough time and depth to become real.

The connection that changes everything is available in these days. The next question is: why this time of year? Why are these nine nights held sacred across thousands of years?
