How To Participate

How To Prepare for the Ceremony

Gather supplies: 5-6 fresh, brown coconuts

Prepare Your Fire Element: You’ll need to be in front of a live flame either a candle or live fire the entire time, in a location free of distractions of calls, meetings, and other conversation
How To Participate In the Ceremony
Participation is key. Plan to be engaged throughout the ritual.

Start Time: Synchronize your starting time to 12 PM Pacific. Dedicate approximately four hours for this ceremony, maintaining a continuous focus and presence in front of the flame throughout. It’s optional to have the live-streaming playing or just to reference to know when the ceremony ends.

Be in the Presence of Live Flame: Light your candle or fire.

Stay Engaged: Chant the Gayatri mantra silently or audibly. The Divine Mother Center will be chanting 108 repetitions of the Mahakali prayer out loud.

Final Offering: After the ceremony at the Divine Mother Center ends, crack five or six brown coconuts. If you are using a fire, offer the cracked coconuts into the fire. If you are using a candle, offer the coconuts to nature by placing them where animals, birds, and insects can consume them.

Seal the Energy: Walk clockwise nine times around the flame or fire pit to seal the energy in your soul. Walking around the fire at the end of the ritual this way is called pradakshina.
