Vijayadasami is the 10th day of Navaratri. It is the day the Divine Mother brings light and victory to a suffering world. It is also the lunar anniversary when Shirdi Sai Baba left his body (mahasamadhi). Vijayadasami is a special time because it is on this day that the merged with Kanaka Durga, the peaceful form of the Divine Mother. We not only celebrate the manifestation of blessings from the Mother but we honor Shirdi Baba and remember his promises to those who love him. This is a powerful time to connect with Baba and Kanaka Durga.
On this special day, we open hearts with gratitude and praise Baba, the beloved grandfather of all, for his constant love and care in our lives. We connect with him through a special maha abishek (holy bath), we rejoice in sacred healing songs (bhajans) and offer our prayers during the sacred fire ceremony, and send and receive deep healing and profound blessings from Baba and the Divine Mother!

On this day, we surrender with one-pointed focus on our Divine Mother and Father. You can receive victory from what keeps you from connecting to the Divine, strength and courage to fulfill your dharma, fulfillment of spiritual desires, hope and healing for those who are suffering.
Give Baba a Gift on Vijayadasami
On Vijayadasami, the Day of Victory of the Light, Day 10 of the Navaratri Festival, we are celebrating and connecting to Shirdi Sai Baba in worship and devotion with a very special Maha Holy Bath (Abishek). The cosmic energy doors are open to receiving Baba’s and the Divine Mother’s grace flowing to us like a river on this day.
In this special sunrise process on Friday, October 15, 2021, Shirdi Baba will be bathed with precious holy items including milk, cream, rosewater, the petals from 300 roses (approximately 3000 rose petals), fragrant oils, special herbs, and ash. It is a great boon to be able to participate in bathing Baba in this special holy bath. Anything is possible on Vijayadasami.
