Three Levels of Disease: A Novel Approach to Self-Healing

In the pursuit of holistic well-being, understanding the intricate layers of our existence is crucial. This novel approach to self-healing applies three distinct but interconnected levels of ‘dis-ease’: the personal level, the chakras, and the soul level. This comprehensive view not only broadens our understanding of health and disease, but also empowers us with the tools for profound self-healing.

1.) The Personal Level
At the personal level, disease manifests through our physical and psychological experiences. The major determinant of disease at the personal level is the mind and its belief systems. Thoughts, emotions, and beliefs are closely linked. For example, constantly thinking about a job problem can cause feelings of anxiety. Our mind often interprets that as an aspect of self– I am anxious, I am upset. Over time, our interpretations of life experiences, traumas, and daily stressor form our belief system about ourself and the world. Thoughts and emotions also directly influence the chemical environment of our body. In this way, our mind and emotions directly shape our mental and physical health issues. Factors such as lifestyle choices and personal relationships also play a significant role in our overall health at this level. When we recognize that our mind’s activity is creating our moment-to-moment experience of ourselves, we initiate the first step towards healing.
2.) The Chakras
The chakras, or subtle soul energy centers within our body, represent a second level of disease. Each chakra corresponds to different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being. Overactivity or blockages in these chakras can lead to disease, manifesting as physical symptoms or emotional disturbances. By understanding how to purify, heal and balance the 5 Element energies in our bodies, we open, charge and align our chakras, achieving a state of energetic harmony that promotes overall health, vitality, and well-being.
2.) The Soul Level
The soul level is the deepest and most important level. It is covered by the darkness of the mind and needs to be healed to gain resilience, willpower, wisdom, and equilibrium of mind. Healing at this level is considered the “real healing” and is achieved through spiritual practices such as meditation, awakening the five elements energies, and connecting with a Master’s soul. This level of healing helps in purifying mental, emotional, and physical blocks, making the soul the greatest healer.
The Role of Self-Awareness and Healing Practices
Recognizing the interconnectedness of these three levels is crucial for effective self-healing that lasts. Self-awareness becomes a powerful tool, allowing us to identify the root causes of our ailments at each level.
Integrating practices such as mantra meditation (japa), trance meditation (e.g. kundalini yoga or Stages of Silence), use of power objects and yantras, and energy healing transmissions (shaktipat) can help in aligning these levels, facilitating a holistic healing process.
The Journey of Self-Healing
The Sai Shakti path of self-healing is a deeply personal and transformative process. It requires patience, commitment, and an open mind. By addressing disease at the personal, soul, and chakra levels, we embrace a holistic approach to healing that nurtures our entire being.
Conclusion
By acknowledging the complex interplay between our physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic selves, we open the door to a more profound and lasting healing, one that resonates with every aspect of our being.
