On this auspicious lunar date – the Friday prior to the Shravana Full Moon – every wife and woman can bless her family like no other day.

The Varalakshmi Vratham centers on receiving from the Mother Divine in Her form as Varalakshmi, the giver of boons for blessings. “Vara” means “boon,” and in this divine form, Lakshmi answers our prayers and makes our dreams come true. Varalakshmi Vratham, if done with a pure heart, can bring wealth, power, fertility, and wealth. This auspicious fire ceremony fulfills the heartful wishes of the wife, women, and girls of the family.

The lotus flower is loved by Goddess Mahalakshmi because it represents good luck, fertility, abundance, and wealth. These lotus flowers come from our Lake Kaleshwar.

The Varalakshmi ceremony has been traditionally observed by married women to pray for the well-being of their husbands and other family members.
